Abstract

Coffee is one of the leading commodities produced by plantations in Indonesia. Pajahan Village, Pupuan District, Tabanan Regency, Bali, is known as one of the centers of Bali’s premium coffee production. This region has geographical conditions that strongly support coffee cultivation. The coffee produced in this area is robusta coffee. Robusta coffee is well known for its strong flavor, high caffeine content, and superior plant resistance to environmental conditions. The distinctive advantage of Pajahan robusta coffee lies in its higher quality compared to coffee grown in lowland areas. The partners in this community service program are coffee farmers who are members of the Er-Cahya Kopi Farmers Group. The problems faced by the partners are twofold.  From the production aspect, in terms of improving production quality, there is still a lack of post-harvest modernization. Many coffee farmers still rely on traditional methods in the post-harvest processing stage. Another problem arises in the management aspect, particularly in improving bookkeeping and business management capacity. The partners do not yet have sufficient knowledge of proper financial management for their business. The solutions offered by the community service team include providing training on more efficient and higher-quality coffee processing techniques, such as the use of modern drying equipment and proper processing methods to improve coffee quality. Another solution in the management aspect is a training program or workshop on business financial management.
