This community service learning program is an implementation of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) initiative titled “Teaching in Educational Units,” conducted at PAUD and Neo Genesis Kindergarten. The objective of this activity is to encourage students to become more familiar with their natural environment. The methodology applied in this program involves the use of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL), enabling students to engage more actively with environmental learning. The results of this program indicate a positive response from students in interacting with and participating in nature-based activities through the handling of simple cases. In this program, the PjBL activity involved inviting children to harvest rice, while the PBL approach focused on analyzing why plants wilt. These learning activities contributed to the development of structured concepts and mindsets in problem analysis and their application in daily life. In conclusion, the implementation of PjBL and PBL methods in this community service learning program has proven to effectively enhance students’ cognitive and psychomotor abilities in relation to their natural environment.
