Peningkatan Kualitas Layanan Homestay Pondok Sayan Bongkasa Melalui Pendidikan Sikap Profesi

Abstract

The hospitality industry plays an important role in driving national economic growth. Its role is considered very important, especially in aspects such as employment opportunities, income equality, and economic development. Today, the hospitality industry in Indonesia is increasingly developing with various types of businesses, ranging from hotels, homestays, resorts, and home stays. The purpose of this community service is to provide a basic understanding related to service delivery, cultural awareness, and work attitudes for tourists who stay at Pondok Sayan Bongkasa. The method used in this community service activity includes lectures, dialogues, and discussions in order to enhance understanding of service provision, cultural awareness, and the improvement of work attitudes at Pondok Sayan Bongkasa. Based on the presentation of the material provided, it was found to be interesting and well received by the employees. The cultural and cross-cultural materials also provided valuable knowledge and were effectively understood by participants. Furthermore, the material on work attitudes was delivered and received well, with a fairly good level of comprehension among the participants.
